Wybrane aspekty związane z akwakulturami makroglonów na przykładzie Neopyropia (Porphyra)

For thousands of years algae have been used for food and agricultural purposes in Asian countries. In recent they become increasingly popular aquaculture, especially the integrated multitrophic aquaculture (IMTA), which process waste produced by fish, rich in, among others, into ammonia, phosphates carbon, while producing new biomass. Products containing are characterized a high content protein, vitamins minerals more often chosen consumers, e.g. due to trend towards healthy eating. Commercially grown species genus Neopyropia (syn. Porphyra, nori) valuable source nutrients can contribute meeting growing nutritional needs world. The article summarizes latest literature on use macroalgae industry. Attention was also paid potential dangers resulting from contamination products, mainly with heavy metals.
